Add A Promo Code Form On Facebook

Filed Under (Internet Marketing Tools, Promo Code Marketing Tips) by admin on 01-06-2008

Here’s something you can’t do with “coupon codes”…

If you add a promo code input box to your Facebook profile, you can drive your visitors to your Facebook page where they can enter the promo code.

I added my promo code form to Facebook using the “My Box” application. “My Box” allows you to add HTML, Javascript, and other things that you can add to a normal website.

Since Promo Code Software generates the HTML code needed to paste into your web page after you create a promo code within your membership area…it’s super easy to add your Promo Code Form right into your Facebook page too.

Now, I know that most people will be using their membership to promote discounts and sales but this is just another way to use promotion codes in other ways than just to give a discount.

Say, for example, you want to share a funny video that you found on YouTube…

Instead of directing visitors DIRECTLY to the YouTube page, you could create a promo code that directs people to the video. This way they have to go to your Facebook page to enter the promo code…to see the video.

Starting to see why this might be valuable?

Let me spell it out.

Funny videos are very likely to go viral. Once one person sees it, they want to share it with their friends.

So what do they do?

Usually they forward the email they received with the link to the video. If they forward YOUR email with the link to YOUR Facebook profile to enter the promo code…you could easily start to build new relationships with people that you would otherwise not likely meet.

With a Promo Code Software membership you can easily create promo codes and promo code forms to put on your Facebook page, blogs, websites, etc.    Place a promotion code form on your blogs and social networking sites to drive targeted traffic to your offers.

It’s a great way to drive traffic back to your sites where  your visitors may spend some time and get to know your brand a little better.

If you use a promotion code on your Facebook, MySpace, & other networking sites you can track how effective your promotions are because each time someone enters a promo code it will be logged within your membership area.  You can actually check the popularity of your promotion by checking how many times your promo code has been used.

There are lots of ways to track your traffic to your sites using analytical tools but it’s also critical to track how well your promotion efforts are paying off by tracking how your visitors actually interact on your sites.  The tracking function in your Promo Code Software membership is just another way to see how effective you are at getting your vistitors to interact on your site.
