Use Promo Codes As A Ticket System

Filed Under (Promo Code Marketing Tips) by admin on 14-08-2008

Promo codes, coupon codes….ticket codes…

What do you call them?

How do you use them?

Well, first of all, you need to understand the myth that “promo codes” don’t necessarily need to be used as a discount coupon code like most people think.

If you were to use promo codes on your marketing site or blog as a “ticket code” or “ticket system”…how would you use them?

I’m interested in your comments.

Buy the way, if you don’t have a means to use coupon codes as a marketing tool other than giving a discount, check out Promo Code Software:

    Hi Jason,

One of the uses you could use the code for on your site is if you were to offer an up-sell to different levels of membership.

If a customer purchases a product at a certain price you could then offer them a certain level of membership at a price that is related to the cost of the product price. IE a $97 purchase price relates to a $97 membership level.

If a customer purchases a $67 product they get a $67 membership level.

If they purchase a $37 dollar product they get a $37 membership level.

This would keep the system quite simple, but of course you could manipulate the codes to make any level of membership available at any price point within your system…the variations are endless and so is the profit potential of the use of your promo code software!

    Cheers

    Ted
